Versatile singer Ali Azmat, who has been facing backlash over his recent remarks on Noor Jehan, has finally responded to the public outrage.
The Pappu Yaar singer took to Instagram and talked about his statement about the Queen of Melody believed that a campaign is being launched against him on social media, and his video has been edited and posted on social media.

“My statement on the recent controversy about the legend Madam Noor Jehan,” he wrote as a caption in which the singer explained that her family does not need any validation from people who edit old videos to create controversies.
Ali Azmat said that Ahmed Ali Butt and Hina Durrani are like his family with whom he has a very loving and respectful relationship. “More than that, I like Madam Noor Jahan and I also love her,” he said.

The singer asserted that what he said about the veteran singer is absolutely true from a perspective as a child, who had only PTV as entertainment and watch her songs all day. “My opinion was on what we get to see,” Ali Azmat said.
“It was a thing of the past, Noor Jahan became our favorite singer when we grew up,” he said. Azmat also said that in childhood he did not have an understanding of what music is.
