Alert issued against terrorist attack on CTD officer Raja Umar Khattab

KARACHI: Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) officer Raja Umar Khattab has been threatened with a terrorist attack.

According to the details, anti-national elements started plotting again to spread unrest in Karachi but the nefarious intentions of the terrorists will remain as usual. CTD officer Raja Umar Khattab was alerted by the concerned agency in view of the threat of a terrorist attack.

In this regard, a letter has been written from IG Sindh office to Additional IG Karachi on which Additional IG also wrote a letter to Counter Terrorism Department. In the letter, it was stated that Shakirullah, who is hiding in Afghanistan, has formed two groups, the target killing team has received orders to spread unrest, Asim Capri’s brother Umair Capri has given a task to target religious leaders.

The report said that Shahid Thelewala and Mohsin’s group could target CTD officer Omar Khattab and take precautionary measures to avoid any untoward situation.
