LAHORE: Amid the rising number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan and the country is facing lockdown situation, Pakistan’s renowned umpire and ICC Elite Panel Aleem Dar has offered free food at his restaurant – Dar’s Delighto – during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
In this regard, Aleem Dar said that during the lockdown, people became jobless, adding that he owned a restaurant in Lahore and people who are jobless can come there and eat food for free.
He said, “Coronavirus has spread globally and its effects have now entered in Pakistan,” adding that he will offer free food to unemployed people in needs especially laborers.
Aleem Dar also said that the federal and provincial governments have issued safety measures for the people of Pakistan, however, without people’s support, none of the government can control this.
The renowned umpire also urged the people of Pakistan to follow the instructions as directed by the government and take safety measures to ensure their safety.
It is worth mentioning here that coronavirus has claimed lives of 10 people in Pakistan and has affected more than 1200 people in the country.
All the provincials governments have enforced locked down their provinces completely to avoid further spread of this disease.
