Actor Akshay Kumar, who tested positive for the coronavirus and admitted to a hospital, is back home.
The news was shared by his wife Twinkle Khanna who took to Instagram and shared the health update of the actor.

Akshay Kumar was admitted to Mumbai’s Hiranandani Hospital after testing COVID-19 positive. According to Twinkle’s post, the actor is back home and “all iz well”. “Safe and sound and good to have him back around. #allizwell (sic),” Twinkle wrote. Along with the short note, Twinkle also shared a caricature of herself with her husband.
Last week, Akshay Kumar, who was shooting for Ram Setu, had confirmed with a note on social media that he has tested positive for the virus. “I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself. I’m under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care.”
“I would sincerely request all those that have come in contact with me to get themselves tested and take care. Back in action very soon (sic),” read the actor’s statement on social media. The actor was initially under home quarantine,” he added.
