Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced the second phase of admissions for the Autumn 2024 semester. The deadline for applying to Matric, FA, and I.Com programs is September 5th, while the last date for MBA, BS, MS, MPhil, and PhD programs is August 20th, according to a press release on Monday.
Application forms for the Matric, FA, and I.Com programs are available at the University’s main campus, regional offices, liaison offices, and designated prospect selling points. Admissions to the MBA, BS, MS, MPhil, and PhD programs are exclusively online, with application forms and prospectuses accessible through the University’s website.
International students from around the world can also apply for the Matric, FA, and I.Com programs. Additional programs for international students will be available in the next phase, beginning on September 1st.
AIOU is supporting international students through an online management system that allows them to submit assignments and take exams online. Admission forms and prospectuses for international students can be downloaded from the University’s website at http://online.aiou.edu.pk.
Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Nasir Mahmood stated that in previous semesters, 1,200 international students from 37 countries enrolled, and the university now aims to increase this number to 50,000.
