Afghanistan won the toss and elected to bat first in the Champions Trophy match against England in Lahore today.
Afghanistan team captain Hashmatullah Shahidi said that his team is on full farm and is determined to win the match against England.
He said he elected to bat first, keeping in view weather conditions, which may be helpful for better batting.
Earlier, England captain Jos Buttler said his team is confident despite its opening defeat in the Champions Trophy as it chases a “perfect game” against Afghanistan.
