KARACHI: A woman was allegedly cooked alive in a cauldron in Gulshan-e- Iqbal, an area of the metropolis.
As per details, a dead body of a woman has recovered from a kitchen of a school located in Gulshan-e- Iqbal block 4. The body was in a cauldron in the kitchen.
According to rescue sources, it seems that the woman has been burnt alive while putting in the caldron as most of the body has burnt.
Later the deceased was identified as 35-year-old Nargis. After the dead body was found police reached the spot and took it into custody.
It has been learned in the initial investigation that the deceased belongs to an Afghan family residing in the school, however, her husband, Syed Ashiq Hussain, and three children are missing after this incident.
