Renowned British zoologist, Dr. Britton, has been sentenced to 10 years and 5 months in prison by an Australian court for his involvement in a heinous case of animal cruelty and bestiality.
The 53-year-old expert, known for his work with esteemed organizations such as the BBC and National Geographic, pleaded guilty to 56 charges related to the sadistic abuse and killing of dozens of dogs.
According to reports, Britton had a “sadistic sexual interest” in animals and recorded himself torturing them, resulting in the death of at least 42 dogs and the abuse of horses. He used online marketplaces to acquire animals from unsuspecting owners, who were often forced to rehome their pets due to travel or work commitments.
The court heard testimony revealing the full extent of Britton’s wrongdoing, including the mistreatment of animals in a cargo container on his property, followed by the online dissemination of videos depicting the abuse. His actions have sparked widespread outrage and condemnation from the animal welfare community.
