Pakistani actress Zoya Nasir has revealed that she fears to travel Lahore-Islamabad Motorway because her mother had been kidnapped there almost three times.
During an interview with actor Nauman Ijaz, Zoya Nasir spilled the beans on the frightful experiences that occurred in her life. The ‘Deewangi’ actress said, “My mother has been kidnapped three times while traveling on the Motorway.”
Zoya further says that, “She’s been kidnapped while serving as an MPA. Dacoits would put her into a strange vehicle and leave her at some unknown location before stealing her car. The car was recovered by the police all three times.”
Meanwhile, after Zoya’s video was shared online, one of the users wrote on it that why her mother kept on traveling the same route if she was kidnapped there? to which Zoya replied that, “It is called dedication and bravery. She had work in Islamabad. Instead of blaming the victim, focus on what the actual problem is. Sadly, you’re one of them.
However, in the same post, her mother Amna Ulfat, a former member of PML-Q party highlighted the events that happened to her in a brief way saying, that she have FIR’s of that incident too and the Pakistan Chief justice and Chief Minister back then in 2011 took notice of the incident happened to her.
Earlier, in May Zoya Nasir had called off her engagement with Christian Betzmaan following his offensive comments on Israel and Palestine issue which had brought him under serious backlash.
