Actress Natasha Ali reveals tying the knot during lockdown

KARACHI: Pakistani actress Natasha Ali has revealed that she had married in a private ceremony.

The actress, who recently appeared on a state TV channel’s morning show, surprised fans when she revealed that she got married this year. The wedding of showbiz personalities is usually well-known on social media, with fans taking an interest in all the festivities.

Natasha Ali during an interview told the host that she got married to a government official named Shahzeb Ali this year on 14th August. She said in the show that it has been four months since the marriage but she still feels like a new bride.

Natasha Ali said that the wedding ceremony was held in a simple manner due to the lockdown. She went on to say that the month of Muharram started immediately after the wedding so we did not celebrate any celebrations or joys.

“Until two months before the wedding, I was very excited, but because of Muharram, I did not hold any ceremony later,” he said. “I never wanted to have a lavish wedding just I wanted was to wear an off-white dress, which I wore on my Nikkah. Her wedding held in Islamabad. My family came from Lahore and my husband’s family came from Karachi. Only 15 to 20 people were invited to my wedding function”, she revealed.

Asked about her husband, the actress said, “My husband Shahzeb is a civil engineer and has been invited to various morning shows but his participation in any program is subject to government permission. Several celebrities have tied the knot during the lockdown and global epidemic in the showbiz industry this year.
