In a surprising development, Karachi police have arrested actor Sajid Hasan’s son, along with four other young men, in connection with Mustafa Amir’s murder case.
According to national media, senior officials confirmed that Sajid Hasan’s family was informed about his son’s arrest. Additionally, some drugs were reportedly found in his possession. An operation against drug-paddlers has also started.
Earlier, the physical remand of arrested suspects Armaghan Qureshi and Sheraz in the murder case of young Mustafa Amir, who was kidnapped and killed in Karachi’s Defence area, has been extended for another five days.
The national media states that the hearing of the case regarding Mustafa Amir’s abduction and murder was held in the Karachi Anti-Terrorism Court, where the investigating officer requested a 14-day physical remand for the suspects.
The investigating officer stated in court that the statements of two employees of Armaghan under Section 164 need to be recorded, and the forensic analysis of weapons and a laptop recovered from Armaghan’s house must also be conducted.
