KARACHI: The Acting Vice-Chancellor of Karachi University, Prof. Dr. Nasira Khatun has started favouring the close associates of Arshad Azmi and people belonging to a specific group have been appointed on the administrative and important designations at the university.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Prof. Nasira Khatun, who has been appointed on temporary basis in Karachi University on the basis of seniority, has also affected seniority by appointing people close to Arshad Azmi to dozens of key positions while there is a possibility of more transfer postings in next few days.
Acting Vice Chancellor Dr. Nasira Khatun first appointed Ziaullah, a junior officer of Grade 16, as Secretary to the Vice Chancellor, the post of Grade 18, contrary to the rules, while SNE has the post of Secretary to the Vice Chancellor, Grade 18 and PA’s post is grade 17.
