KARACHI: The anti-corruption establishment (ACE) has arrested two officers over corruption charges in Sindh’s Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Youth Development Programme (BBSYDP).
ACE deputy director while briefing media conference told reporters that his department officers arrested two officers who were involved in the corruption worth Rs38.7 million in Karachi.
Whereas, the investigation into financial irregularities has been investigating other parts of Sindh.

The arrested men, identified as Faisal Ansari and Arsalan, worked as in-charge district East and West and manager of the Information Technology (IT) branch of the BBSYDP.
The ACE senior officer said that several students were registered under the BBSYDP across Sindh.
He also revealed that at least 87 percent students who were registered under the programme were using fake identifications.
