LAHORE: The 2023 ACC Women’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup will begin today in Hong Kong.
Two matches will be played on the opening day of the tournament, in the first match Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) while in the second match, the women’s teams of Bangladesh and Malaysia will face each other.
The national team will begin their campaign with a match against Nepal on June 13 (tomorrow), the second match against Hong Kong on June 15, and the third and final group match against arch-rivals India on June 17.
Eight teams are participating in the event which is divided into two groups, each team will play three group matches and the top two teams from both groups will qualify for the semi-finals.
