LAHORE: Accountability court has granted permission to former railway minister Khawaja Saad Rafique to attend the National Assembly session which will be held today.
Khawaja Saad Rafique who completed his judicial remand in the Paragon Housing case today was presented before the court today. He earlier filed a petition in which he sought permission from the court to attend the NA session.
Rafique in his petition also requested the court to allow him to shift him from the hospital of Lahore to Islamabad due to a fire incident at his jail barrack in which he was injured after his head hit an iron rod during the incident.
Saad Rafique along with his brother Salman Rafique was arrested on 11th December 2018 on the charges of signing an agreement with Paragon City regarding the sale of land worth over Rs393 million.
