Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan, who is returning to the big screen with the movie ‘Ghoomer’, has expressed that he is happy to bring his latest film to cinemas.
Bachchan in an interview expressed that he is happy to bring ‘Ghoomer’ to cinemas as nothing beats the experience of watching an in a dark theatre.
According to him, he is very happy and proud of the movie. “I am excited to bring the film to the audiences,” he said by adding, “Due to the pandemic, a lot of us couldn’t show our film to our audiences in the theaters, a lot of us gravitated toward digital, which is a wonderful medium.”

He said, “However, coming into a dark theatre, with samosa, cold drink, popcorn, and you see a good film – nothing beats that experience.” Abhishek’s last few films ‘Ludo’, ‘The Big Bull’ and ‘Dasvi’ were released on digital platforms during the pandemic.

Directed by R. Balki, the movie is inspired by the incredible achievement of Karoly Takacs. It follows the achievements of special athletes, who have achieved more than when they were called ‘normal’. Apart from Abhishek Bachchan, the movie stars Amitabh Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Nasir Khan, and Angad Bedi.
