ISLAMABAD: Adviser to Prime Minister of Pakistan for Commerce, Industry and Investment Abdul Razzak Dawood has said that the government will not permit businesses to go bankrupt on cash flow basis.
In a video message on a social media website, Dawood said that he fully aware about the issues being faced by the people ever since the coronavirus outbreak in the country. He said that the government’s programme was not limited to exporters. He added the programme is not for only exporters.
The advisory said the scope of the financial package is for countries’ SMEs, retail sector as well as labourers. Dawood said that “I will take care of the problems raised by people which included those related to electricity, banking and cash flows. He said that the state will take care of the problems of the people”.

The statement comes at a time when the country is facing severe economic issues due to coronavirus outbreak.The diseases affected about 1200 people in the country and had claimed nine lives nationwide. Due to the pandemic almost all parts of the country observed lockdown amid to limit the spread of the diseases.
Prime Minister Imran has assured the nation several times that he will not support to continue impose a lock down situation in the coming days as it will have a ruinous impact on the economy of the country.
