Bismillah Lasani Restaurant, located near Sagheer Center in Federal B Area, has gained immense popularity due to its delicious prawn biryani, which people of all ages love. They not only eat it for themselves but also pack and take it home for their loved ones and relatives.
Farrukh Sahib, the owner of Basmaullah Lathani Restaurant, told MM News that he had previously opened a branch in Yasinabad where he started making biryani on a friend’s request. It quickly gained popularity, and now, four months after launching in Federal B area, it has become a hot spot for biryani lovers.
Regarding the preparation of the biryani, Farrukh Sahib said that it is quite different from the traditional biryani. Instead of using equal quantities of meat and rice, they use a 2:1 ratio of prawns to rice. They also make a special type of sauce that they add to the spices of the biryani. The sauce thickens the spices and gives the shrimp biryani its unique flavor.
Since it is prawn biryani, it is priced a bit higher at Rs. 450 per plate and Rs. 900 per kg. If you plan to try this delicious prawn biryani, you can visit the restaurant after Asr during Ramadan. It is available from 5 PM to 10 PM.
