Atif Aslam has spilled the beans on the famous rumours circulating that he once turned down movie Dilwale’s song ‘Gerua’ featuring SRK’.
The singer recently in an interview revealed that he had almost sung Gerua for SRK before some miscommunications got the best of the deal. He also shared that he even recorded the song and send it to the designated team. Atif being a fan of SRK, confessed that he would love to sing for the actor any day.
It all started when the host asked him if he really rejected singing for Shah Rukh Khan’s Gerua since King Khan once openly claimed it in one of his interviews. Atif laughed at the question and then later revealed that it was ‘not’ true.

While denying the rumours, the Rafta Rafta actor shared that he has once met Shahrukh and he is a wonderful person. Now coming back to the rumours, Atif also asserted that he was never approached by SRK personally instead it was his team who contacted Atif.
“I did sing the song ‘Gerua’, it’s on record I am telling you that I recorded that song and sent it back to his team, I think his team did not put us through, something happened which was not conveyed to Shah Rukh Khan,” Atif added.
