WASHINGTON: A local court in the US state of Georgia has declared the Donald Trump team’s lawsuit against the vote count inadmissible.

The Republican Party called on the court to suspend the postal ballot, declaring it illegal. The petition contends that many postal ballots are uncertified. The court dismissed the petition in the preliminary hearing.

Republican nominee Donald Trump has called for a halt to the vote count in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. Petitions filed in the court have stated that Donald Trump’s team does not have adequate access during the counting of votes.
