ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Overseas Pakistanis Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari has said that exporting skilled manpower is our top priority.
Pakistani healthcare professionals are leaving for the Gulf countries after ten years. On this occasion, Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari, accompanied by Ambassador of Kuwait Abdul Rehman, addressed the ceremony of Health Care Professionals through video links. Bukhari said that the first consignment leaving for Kuwait tomorrow will include 226 doctors, paramedics, and nurses.
He said that in the second phase, another 200 people will go to Kuwait while the country wants to provide employment to more than one thousand Pakistani health professionals. Bukhari said that the resumption of manpower exports to Kuwait was a historic moment for Pakistan as no skilled personnel had been sent to Gulf countries in the last ten years, he maintained.

Addressing those leaving for Kuwait, he said, “You should fulfill your responsibilities and work as ambassadors of the country and pave the way for other Pakistanis aspiring for jobs in Kuwait.” He said that exporting skilled manpower to GCC member states is our top priority.
On the occasion, Ambassador of Kuwait Abdul Rehman said that he was grateful to the Pakistani government for providing health care professionals to Kuwait during the difficult time of coronavirus and all Pakistani skilled people would be provided full facilities during their stay in the country.
