ISLAMABAD: The mystery of the death of 11-year-old Aqsa, who was killed four days ago, has not been solved as Islamabad police failed to trace the real culprit yet.
The victim uncles and aunt told MM News that the mother and father of the victim were out of the house for labor on the day of the incident while Aqsa Bibi and her younger sister were at home however when the parents reached home, the girl’s body was hanging in the room.
They said that after being informed the police, about the incident they had collected evidence after inspecting the scene.
SP police had promised Aqsa Bibi’s father that within three days, the police would arrest the killer of his daughter but police still could not arrest the culprits involved in murder, they said.
“We have not yet received the post-mortem report of the girl nor have we been told whether the girl has been abused or not. Police have arrested some unknown persons but the culprit has not been identified yet,” they said.
On a tip-off, police have arrested a boy suspected in the murder but no progress has been made in the case so far, they said. They demanded that the killers of the innocent girl should be arrested and punished according to the law without further delay.
