Global coronavirus deaths reach 777,400

ISLAMABAD: The coronavirus pandemic has killed more than 777,000 people worldwide and 22,052,00 people have been diagnosed with the virus.

The number of coronaviruses has infected 22,052,773 and killed 777,477 people globally. The death toll from the coronavirus in the United States has risen to 173,716 and the number of people infected has risen to 5,612,027.

Brazil is the second most affected country by the epidemic, with more than 3,363,000 people affected and 18,654 killed.

The number of coronavirus patients in India has risen to more than 2.71 million and the total number of deaths has risen to 51,925.

In Russia, the coronavirus has infected 927,745 people and killed 15,740. The death toll from coronavirus in South Africa has risen to 11,982, with 589,886 people affected. In Mexico, 525,733 people were affected, with 57,023 deaths.

The first 5 million cases of coronavirus in the world were reported in 185 days while the last 5 million cases came to light in just 18 days.

The first case of coronavirus was reported on 17th November 2019, and on 6th March, the number of cases worldwide exceeded one million.

The number of coronavirus cases worldwide reached 5 million on 20th May, and more than 10 million on 27th June. On 22nd July, the total number of cases reached 15 million. The total number of cases worldwide on 9th August was more than 20 million.
