ISLAMABAD: All Pakistan Private Schools Associations have decided to open educational institutions from 15th August.
In a joint press conference, Hidayat Khan, president of the Private Schools Association, said that educational institutions have been closed for eight months and children’s education is being affected.
“We will open schools by setting up SOPs,” he said. Earlier, the federal government had announced the opening of educational institutions across the country from 15th September.

Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood said that suggestions have been sent to the National Command and Control Center and the government would also hold further consultations on educational institutions.
He said that SOPs related to educational institutions would be reviewed. “We will reconsider the decision to open educational institutions in the first and third weeks of August,” he said.
The federal education minister said that universities could invite Ph.D. students before 15th September. All educational institutions should be cleaned and sanitized before starting classes.
Shafqat Mahmood said that educational institutions have to take special care in the implementation of SOPs and strict action will be taken in case of violation.
Educational institutions will have training on the implementation of SOPs and some educational institutions will be allowed to open administrative offices first.
