ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has reiterated that reforms process in all government institutions was in progress to harmonize the initiatives taken by the government.
The statement came while addressing the ground-breaking ceremony of the Quaid-e-Azam Business Park in Lahore today (Saturday). Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar was also present on the occasion.
The Prime Minister further said that the government was facilitating the business activities in the country. “All impediments in the development of the industrial sector are being removed,” he added.
PM Imran asserted that the Chinese companies were taking keen interest to invest in Pakistan in diverse sectors. “However, we have to ease entrepreneurship and simplify our procedures,” he remarked.
The premier also expressed hope that the Quaid-e-Azam Business Park would emerge as an epicenter of new economic avenues for the Chinese companies.
Referring to the construction package, PM Imran said that the construction incentives package was announced to accelerate the economic revival and to generate job opportunities.
The Prime Minister also highlighted that the country wants long-term planning for sustainable development. “The government is committed to remove the hurdles in the way of entrepreneurship and ensure ease of business,” he added.
He also pointed out the importance of the small and medium industry and said that the government is committed to facilitating them at all levels and will ensure ease of doing business.
