KARACHI: The district police have arrested a suspect for allegedly raping a five-year-old girl in Gadap Town. The suspect was identified as Munnu who was apprehended in the Gadap City area.
According to details, the arrested man was accused of raping the girl on Friday (July 10). The victim’s father told police that his daughter was playing outside the residence when the suspect took her to an unknown location where he raped her.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the arrested suspect was a neighbour of the complainant. Gadap police have registered a case FIR No. 20/352 against the suspect under Crime Section 376.
Earlier on July 7, Police presented a man in a local court for raping his 14-year-old daughter in Karachi. Police sources said that a woman registered FIR in Pirabad Police Station dated 4th July against her husband for raping 14-years old daughter.
The woman claimed in a police complaint that her daughter has video recording proof of sexual abuse by her father, which she could submit in a court as evidence.
