Suspected terrorist killed by CTD in Naseerabad

NASEERABAD: A terrorist was killed in an exchange of fire with personnel of the Counter-Terrorism Department and Frontier Corps in the Naseerabad area of the Balochistan on Tuesday.

According to CTD officials, on an intelligence report about the hideout of the terrorist in the Naseerabad, law enforcers conducted a targeted operation in the area.

During operation the terrorist opened fire on security forces; however, in retaliatory firing, a suspect was killed. Police recovered a huge quantity of weapons including explosives materials from the hideout.

CTD officials further added the killed terrorist was involved in several attacks on security forces and government officers.

Separately in Sindh Tharparkar police in its continued drive against narcotics and criminals on Tuesday apprehended two terrorists and three drug peddlers. on the orders of SSP Tharparkar Abdullah Ahmed, SHO Chelhaar police station along with his team nabbed the suspects.
