A horrific accident occurred on Karachi’s Super Highway when a dumper truck crushed a motorcycle. As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist was killed and another person was injured.
According to details, the dumper collided with the motorcycle, taking the rider’s life. The injured person was rushed to the hospital.
Police stated that the dumper driver has been arrested.
Initially, the dumper driver had fled the scene, but after his arrest, the dumper was taken into custody.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the accident was caused by high speed and driver negligence, although further investigation is ongoing.
Earlier, the court had canceled the interim bail of Liaqat Mehsud, head of the Dumper Association, in a case related to unrest following a young man’s death caused by a dumper.
The interim bail of Liaqat Mehsud was revoked today by the Additional Sessions Judge, Karachi South.
The collision that resulted in the young man’s death occurred in the Ramswami area of Karachi.
During the hearing of the case concerning the unrest, the court remarked that Liaqat Mehsud’s actions fall under terrorism-related categories and that charges against him could be framed under anti-terrorism provisions.
