The Election Commission of Pakistan has issued the disqualification notification of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Ejaz Chaudhry, MNA Muhammad Ahmad Chattha, and Opposition Leader of Punjab Assembly Ahmad Khan Bhachar.
The Election Commission, while issuing the disqualification notification of Senator Ejaz Chaudhry, stated that Ejaz Chaudhry has been convicted and sentenced to 10 years by the Anti-Terrorism Court.
Ejaz Chaudhry is no longer eligible to remain a member of the Senate under Article 63(1)(h), according to the notification issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan.
The Election Commission has also issued the disqualification notification of MNA Muhammad Ahmad Chattha and Opposition Leader of Punjab Assembly Ahmad Khan.
The Anti-Terrorism Court has convicted Ahmad Chattha and Ahmad Khan Bhachar and sentenced them to 10 years in prison, according to Election Commission of Pakistan.
According to the Election Commission, Ahmad Chattha was elected from NA-66 Wazirabad and Ahmad Khan Bhachar from PP-87 Mianwali.
