Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Monday, mirroring an upward trend in the international market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola increased by Rs3,600, reaching Rs361,200 in the local market. Similarly, the rate for 10 grams climbed by Rs3,087 to Rs309,671.
On Friday, gold price per tola reached Rs357,600 after a gain of Rs2,500 during the day.
Globally, gold also saw an increase on Friday. The international price rose by $36 to $3,387 per ounce, including a $20 premium, according to APGJSA data.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged, with one tola holding steady at Rs4,012.
