On Thursday, July 24, 2025, a significant decrease in gold prices was observed in Pakistan, reflecting the ongoing bearish trend in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of gold per tola in the local market dropped by Rs. 5,900, bringing the new rate to Rs. 359,000 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold also declined by Rs. 5,058, bringing it down to Rs. 307,784.
This is a notable shift, as just a day earlier (Wednesday), the price of gold had increased by Rs. 3,700, reaching Rs. 364,900 per tola.
Gold prices also saw a decrease on the international level. In the global market, the price of gold fell by $61, reaching $3,363 per ounce, which includes a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also declined. The price of silver per tola decreased by Rs. 24, bringing it down to Rs. 4,057.
