Famous YouTuber Rajab Butt has left Pakistan and announced a temporary break from vlogging, as claimed by national media.
Rajab Butt is accused of allegedly disrespecting Islamic figures in his videos, and a petition has already been filed in the Lahore High Court regarding this matter. According to reports circulating on social media, Rajab Butt has not confirmed his current location, but in a recent TikTok live session, he hinted at being abroad by referencing the time difference between Dubai and Pakistan.
He stated that he will not be uploading any new vlogs for now, and this decision is conditional on his mother’s approval. According to him, his mother is extremely distressed by the current situation, which is why she personally accompanied him to the airport.
Rajab Butt clarified that he is not quitting vlogging permanently, but will wait until the situation improves and will not make videos again without his mother’s permission.
He further shared that he has already recorded explanatory videos, which he plans to release at an appropriate time. It is worth noting that last night, unknown individuals fired shots at his house in Lahore. Fortunately, no one was home at the time. Rajab Butt had already left the country before the incident occurred.
It is also worth remembering that Rajab Butt has previously left the country during similar controversies. Earlier this year, a case was filed against him under blasphemy charges for launching a perfume labeled “295”, which was perceived as a reference to Pakistan’s well-known penal code section related to blasphemy.
