Families enrolled in the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) were selected for the free distribution of solar panels in Karachi.
During the ceremony, free solar panels were distributed among 700 families.
During the ceremony, Information Secretary of PPP West and UC-2 Vice Chairman Ali Akbar Kanchelo said that Pakistan People’s Party has started fulfilling its promise of providing 300 units of free electricity in Sindh.
Municipal Commissioner Agha Khaliq expressed gratitude to the Sindh government for supporting the initiative. Chairman Haji Nawaz Brohi and Vice Chairman Rana Muhammad Arif stated that local government issues in the town have largely been resolved and that Manghopir is emerging as a model for the city.
