According to details, Jasmeen Manzoor shared a screenshot from her mobile gallery showing her eye swollen. When the image is zoomed in, it appears that there are more photos on her phone capturing different angles of her face. The picture suggests she was subjected to severe violence.

Alongside this, there are also some images of medical reports. The image shared by Jasmeen Manzoor is dated June 4. Although she has previously spoken up about such issues, her voice has not been heard effectively. In another tweet, she addressed those who sided with her ex-husband, sharing a photo of her injured face with the caption: “This is for those who supported a criminal. This is a gift from my ex-husband.”
On the same day, June 4, when the alleged violence occurred, she tagged X owner Elon Musk in a post, complaining about the abuse she suffered. However, the post didn’t receive much attention, being viewed by only about 10,500 people on X.
In that post, she wrote: “To Elon Musk: I don’t know if you read your messages or not, as you are a very busy man. I am a female journalist from Pakistan, and I need your help. This is about a fight against violence and harassment towards women. I am a victim myself, and I want you to help me with this matter.”

On the same day, she also tagged CNN in another post, saying: “This story needs to be told to the world — my story of violence, abuse, and assault. I’m a journalist from Pakistan. If this can happen to me, imagine the countless women still fighting alone without any support.”
That post received fewer than 3,000 views on X. In a post on June 9, she accused a woman of breaking up her home. On June 14, Jasmeen Manzoor announced she would be making a documentary on sexual harassment and requested affected women to contact her.
On June 18, she made another post, saying: “O God, thank You for saving me from a hypocritical man and woman. They destroyed my life. I leave their matter to God and the Hereafter.”
