Another day, another rape victim in Pakistan, but the shocking thing about this incident was that a monster picked a 15-year-old differently-abled girl, who died during medical treatment at the Trauma Center Larkana on Sunday.
The suspect in the abduction and assault case of a 15-year-old differently-abled girl was killed during a police operation in Larkana, according to law enforcement officials. It should be noted that the news of the victim’s death emerged several hours after the suspect, identified as Rizwan Kaalu, was fatally shot.
District SSP Ahmed Faisal Chaudhry informed the media that Kaalu sustained a fatal gunshot wound during an exchange of fire with police.
He further said that the fatal shot may have been fired by Kaalu’s own accomplices, who managed to flee the scene during the confrontation.
According to SSP Chaudhry, the police came under attack while conducting a raid to apprehend the suspect.
The deceased girl had reportedly gone missing on July 11 after leaving her home in the Kambar Naka area of Ratodero, Larkana. Her uncle, Asad Abro, confirmed the timeline of her disappearance while speaking to the media.
The girl was found unconscious near Ratodero Stadium a day later. Dr Shah Hussain Shah, Medical Superintendent of Taluka Hospital revealed that initial medical examination suggested the victim had been raped.
