Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Tuesday, following a downward trend in the international market. In the domestic market, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs700, reaching Rs359,000.
According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10 grams of gold stood at Rs307,784 after a decrease of Rs600.
This follows a gain on Monday, when the price per tola rose by Rs1,600 to close at Rs359,700.
Internationally, gold prices also saw a drop on Tuesday. The global rate reached $3,365 per ounce (including a $20 premium), reflecting a decline of $7, as reported by APGJSA.
Meanwhile, the price of silver also registered a decline, with per tola rates losing Rs73 to settle at Rs4,014.
