Actor Ishtiyak Khan, who has worked in the Bollywood film industry alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Salman Khan, not only taught acting as an acting teacher in the past but also ran an omelette stall.
According to details, actor Ishtiyak Khan, who worked with stars like Ranbir Kapoor in the film Tamasha and Salman Khan in the film Bharat, spoke about his humble beginnings. Ishtiyak graduated from the National School of Drama and worked as an acting teacher before becoming a professional actor.
Recalling an incident from his past, Ishtiyak Khan shared that he had set up an omelette stall near the school where he used to teach, and one day, when one of his students came to the stall, he felt ashamed. In an interview, he said that the environment he grew up in had a deep impact on his personality and taught him to value human dignity.

When asked about this incident in an interview with Indian media, he said, “In the evenings, a few of us used to set up an egg stall together. I also used to accept contracts for college plays and arrange music and dance performances. One day, one of my students came to my stall.
Ishtiyak Khan said his student was shocked to see his teacher selling eggs. “I felt very embarrassed. I didn’t know how I would show my face at school. The children respected me. I didn’t go to school the next day. Then that same student came again, this time with his father. They came on a scooter. The student said to his father, ‘This is our teacher.’ The father looked at me but said nothing. Then one of my seniors told me not to be ashamed. ‘You’re not stealing—so why feel ashamed?’”
