The preliminary post-mortem report of Indian actress and model Shefali Jariwala, widely known for the song “Kaanta Laga”, has been released.
Shefali Jariwala passed away unexpectedly last week at the age of 42. On June 27, she was rushed from her residence in Mumbai to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
According to Indian media reports, investigations into the actress’s death are ongoing. Police have seized a variety of medications from her home as part of their inquiry.
Authorities are reportedly considering multiple angles, including potential poisoning. So far, statements from 14 individuals—including Shefali’s husband, family members, staff, and close friends—have been recorded.
A five-member medical board has prepared the post-mortem report, which is expected to be formally released soon. Media sources claim that the report cites a sudden drop in blood pressure and a heart attack as the primary causes of death.
It has also emerged that Shefali had been regularly taking anti-aging injections on an empty stomach.
On the day of her death, she reportedly administered one such injection in the afternoon. She was undergoing various treatments and medications to maintain a youthful and fit appearance.
