After a young man was killed during a fight near Guru Mandir in Karachi’s East District, the police immediately took action and arrested the suspects.
According to the Karachi police spokesperson, near Kanz-ul-Iman Mosque in the Jamshed Quarters police station area, an argument broke out over a minor issue among seven boys present at a tea hotel, which quickly turned into a fight.
During the fight, one young man was pushed, and he hit the handle of a nearby parked motorcycle, dying on the spot. The deceased, aged 17 to 18 years, was identified as Abdul Rehman, son of Abdul Jabbar.
Police stated that the SHO of Jamshed Quarters initiated action as soon as the information was received and arrested the suspects involved in less than five hours.
The arrested suspects include Talha son of Muhammad Shahid, Hasan son of Arif (the deceased’s cousin), Abdullah son of Shakeel, Faraz son of Abdul Sattar, Manan son of Akbar Ali, and Moiz son of Muhammad Javed. Legal formalities are being completed by the police, while further investigation of the incident is ongoing.
