Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Thursday, mirroring the upward trend in the international market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola increased by Rs1,335, settling at Rs356,000. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold gained Rs1,144, closing at Rs305,212.
This follows a slight increase on Wednesday, when the gold rate per tola stood at Rs354,665 after an increase of Rs300.
Internationally, gold also saw a small gain. The global price was recorded at $3,343 per ounce, inclusive of a $20 premium, reflecting an increase of $13 during the day, as reported by APGJSA.
Meanwhile, the price of silver rose by Rs86, reaching Rs3,850.
