Android users can now use Photoshop app for free as Adobe has announced that the beta version of its app is available at Google Play Store just four months after the company launched its iPhone app.
While the application is free to download, some of the features are currently inaccessible since it is still in beta form.
Adobe Photoshop operators can still perform a variety of tasks like combining and compositing images using layers and masks, erasing or replacing areas in an image, touching up blemishes or unwanted items, and utilizing Firefly-powered Generative AI tools to enlarge or alter image content. Adobe Stock assets are also available, among other things.
Moreover, distractions can be eliminated by the user with the “Spot Healing Brush” and refine visuals using the “Remove” and “Clone Stamp” tools. The “Object Select” and “Magic Wand” tools offer greater precision for targeted edits.

According to Adobe’s blog, “The all-new Android app has Photoshop’s familiar image editing and design capabilities, such as layering, masking, and the hit favorite Firefly-powered Generative Fill. Photoshop Mobile enables anyone to create anywhere—whether designing cover art, video thumbnails, vision boards, or capturing ideas in real time.”
