Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi met with Pakistan’s top spinner, Saadia Iqbal, to congratulate her on becoming the No. 1 bowler in the ICC T20I rankings.
During the meeting, she was presented with a special shirt featuring the title “World No. 1 T20I Bowler” and was praised for bringing pride to the nation through her outstanding performances.
“You are a star of Pakistan women’s cricket and have made the country proud,” said Mohsin Naqvi. “This honour is the result of your hard work and professional approach. We hope you maintain this momentum during the World Cup as well.”
He further expressed confidence that Saadia Iqbal would continue to succeed in her career through her talent and dedication.
The star thanked Chairman Mohsin Naqvi for his encouragement, saying, “InshaAllah, I will continue this form in the World Cup, too.”
The Pakistan women’s cricket team has qualified for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, which is set to take place in England in June 2026.
