Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has been crowned Premier League Player of the Season for the second time, following a remarkable campaign that led the Reds to their record-equaling 20th English league title. His teammate, Ryan Gravenberch, earned the Young Player of the Season honor.
Salah, 32, delivered an outstanding individual performance, scoring 28 goals and contributing 18 assists—more than any other player—to help Arne Slot’s side clinch the title with four matches remaining. The Egyptian forward previously won the same award in the 2017–18 season, and now joins an elite group of players—Thierry Henry, Cristiano Ronaldo, Nemanja Vidic, and Kevin De Bruyne—as two-time recipients.
With one game left, Salah is poised to win the Golden Boot, holding a five-goal lead over Newcastle’s Alexander Isak. He has already recorded 46 goal contributions this season—the most ever in a 38-game Premier League campaign—and is just one away from the overall record of 47, set in the 42-game era.
Salah also leads the league in assists and remains on course to become the first player to win the Golden Boot, Golden Playmaker, and Player of the Season awards in a single campaign, ending Manchester City’s four-year dominance of the accolade.
