A family tormented by the heat and power outages in India has taken shelter in an ATM booth, as reported by Indian media.
According to details, several states in India are currently experiencing extreme heat. On one hand, people are suffering due to the harsh weather, and on the other hand, long power outages have made life even more difficult for citizens.
In the city of Jhansi, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, temperatures have recently been recorded as high as 45°C (113°F), and during such conditions, there is no electricity day or night.
A family, suffering from the heat, has taken shelter in an ATM booth, where they are enjoying the air conditioning to combat the heat.
A video of the family taking refuge in the ATM booth is also going viral on social media, in which women can be seen with their children. One woman said that there is no electricity during the day or night, and in the morning, we still have to go to work — if we don’t, how will we feed our children?
She further said that it has been a month now, and the power outages are ongoing, which is why they were forced to come here with their family.
