Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Friday, with the price of gold per tola reaching Rs336,100 after registering an increase of Rs900 in the local market.
According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs772, settling at Rs288,151.
This follows a significant drop on Thursday, when gold prices fell by Rs6,700, bringing the rate per tola down to Rs335,200.
In the international market, gold prices also saw an upward movement on Friday. The global rate climbed by $9, reaching $3,177 per ounce, including a $20 premium, as reported by the APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the local market remained unchanged, with the price per tola holding steady at Rs3,377.
