A woman was killed and two others injured in a gas cylinder explosion in Islamabad. The incident occurred in the Shehzad Town area of the federal capital.
According to details, the explosion took place inside a house in Ali Pur, Shehzad Town, Islamabad, resulting in the death of a woman, while her husband and daughter were injured. Rescue personnel and police reached the scene immediately after being informed.
According to police, the deceased woman has been identified as Ambreen. The injured include her husband, Faisal, and her daughter, Aiza. The deceased and the injured have been shifted to the hospital.
It is worth mentioning that earlier, in the historic city of Hyderabad in Sindh, more than 25 people were killed in a gas cylinder explosion. Ten days after the blast, another injured person died during treatment.
This explosion had occurred on May 30 last year in the Hyderabad area. After the incident, four of the injured from the Hyderabad neighborhood of Preetabad were given medical treatment in three hospitals in Karachi.
Following the explosion in a gas cylinder shop in Hyderabad, a fire broke out, causing several cylinders in the shop to explode. As a result of the incident, 63 people were injured.
