Internal conflicts within Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have deepened further as a video has emerged in which the head of PTI’s women’s wing, Kanwal Shauzab, can be heard accusing Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan of undermining the leadership of party chairman Barrister Gohar Khan.
According to details, in the video, Kanwal Shauzab questions Aleema Khan’s character and accuses her of trying to harm the party from within. Kanwal Shauzab says that if Aleema Khan wants to enter politics, she should openly join the party instead of working behind the scenes to weaken it.

In the video, Kanwal Shauzab can be heard saying, “Why did she say, ‘Who is Barrister Gohar?’” She defends the appointment of Barrister Gohar, saying that he was nominated by Imran Khan himself and that such talk against the party’s discipline and leadership harms the integrity of PTI.
Kanwal Shauzab further said that if she meets Aleema Khan again, she will speak to her openly because, in her view, the continuous disrespect shown towards the party chairman—especially by individuals she refers to as “irrelevant”—is intolerable.

After the video went viral, Kanwal Shauzab clarified that the video was recorded during a private, internal meeting of the PTI women’s wing and is being presented out of context.
She said that the clip does not accurately represent the full conversation or its original tone. Earlier, another leaked audio surfaced, which allegedly included a conversation between the president of the Insaf Lawyers Forum, Advocate Qazi Anwar, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Additional Advocate General, Nawroz Khan.
