In an effort to enable outstanding individuals in the world, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has unveiled the ‘Blue Residency Visa,’ a multiple-entry visa valid for 180 days, targeting people who are presently staying outside of the UAE.
Who is eligible?
- Individuals who made contributions to the areas of environment, climate change, sustainability, and clean and renewable energy.
- Scientists and researchers, with impressive contributions in the fields of environment, climate change, sustainability, and clean and renewable energy.
- Investors and businessmen who work in the areas of environment, climate change, sustainability, and clean and renewable energy.
How to apply?
The authority has specified a four-step process for applicants using its Smart Services platform and mobile application (UAEICP). The steps are as follows:
- Complete the required information and upload all necessary documents
- Pay the applicable fees
- Submit the application
- Receive confirmation of the transaction via email
Required Documents
- A valid passport copy (with at least six months’ validity)
- A recent colored personal photograph
- Supporting documents proving eligibility for the Blue Residency
