Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released details of the martyrs and injured during the “Battle of Truth” in response to Indian aggression.
According to ISPR, during Indian provocations on May 6 and 7, 2025, 40 civilians were martyred, including 7 women and 15 children. A total of 121 civilians were injured, including 10 women and 27 children.
In response to Indian aggression, the Pakistan Army launched a resolute counterattack under the “Battle of Truth,” during which 11 soldiers were martyred and 78 were injured in the defense of the motherland. The martyrs include Naik Abdul Rehman, Lance Naik Dilawar Khan, Lance Naik Ikramullah, Naik Waqar Khalid, Sepoy Muhammad Adeel Akbar, and Sepoy Nisar.
ISPR stated that during the “Battle of Truth,” Squadron Leader Usman Yousaf of the Pakistan Air Force, Chief Technician Aurangzeb, Senior Technician Najeeb, Corporal Technician Farooq, and Senior Technician Mubashir embraced martyrdom.
Yesterday, Army Chief General Asim Munir visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Rawalpindi to inquire after those injured in Operation Bunyan al Marsoos and the “Battle of Truth.” He met with the injured individually.
Army Chief General Asim Munir praised the soldiers’ extraordinary bravery and steadfastness and stated that the courage and sacrifices of civilians and soldiers are the foundation of Pakistan’s security.
The Commander-in-Chief said that the entire nation stands with the armed forces and expresses unwavering solidarity. No enemy can shake the resolve of Pakistan’s armed forces.
He further stated that no conspiracy by the enemy can dampen the spirit of the armed forces, and the spirit of every Pakistani in the “Battle of Truth” and “Bunyan al Marsoos” has been commendable.
