In a relief move for agricultural users, the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has extended the due date for electricity bill payments, benefiting around 53,000 tube well consumers.
According to FESCO spokesperson Tahir Sheikh, agricultural consumers are now eligible for a five-day extension on their bill deadlines.
However, FESCO officials later clarified that a ten-day extension may also apply in certain cases, following internal directives.
The company stated that the decision aims to ease the financial burden on farmers and ensure timely support during peak agricultural activity.
